Sarah Pollock

Jojo Rabbit Collage (2021)Conceptual piece while at Shillington. Completed in response to a brief for a handmade piece of art that adequately represents any movie, piece of music, or entertainment media of our choosing. Once I decided on collage as my medium, I was immediately drawn to Jojo Rabbit as my subject because of how the movie embodies themes like contrast, irony, and surrealism to portray its central meaning and message- things that collage art is particularly good at conveying.
Selected Posters (2022)Concept music posters for a few of my favorite artists.
Art Journals (2022-2025) A series of personal archival books made of local findings, saved scraps, and written reflections in real time. Pieced together throughout the past 3 years of living and backpacking abroad.

Handmade Typeface (2022)
Elaboration of a project started at Shillington. Inspired by my exploration into different styles of illustration and of typography as a means of decorative art in and of itself.
This was a passion project intended to blend the ideas of type and illustration together.
Madrid Bookclub Site (2024)
Mobile Website design and animated illustration for a bookclub I was a part of while living in Madrid. Site was embedded on the club’s instagram page and Whatsapp group as the official information hub for both new and recurring members. The club’s founders requested that the site be colorful, welcoming, and accessible.
